Welcome to a new self

Hello self

Ofcourse there is no "new self" its the same one but newly discovered, uncovered and revived. I'm slowly finding a new self and this is the journey.

I have always been struggling to find my life purpose. I have always felt an undercurrent of discontent, unsettled even when "things are going well". The Man Who Drank the Universe

Alistar? Really? For those of you who do not watch BBC, this is the host of "escape to the Country" a show I watched religiouslyback when I had a tv. He did guest host bits on other of my beloved home make-over type shows. I really liked him but thats that. I have no tv and forgot about it. Here I stumble across his blog where we find he too is on a spiritual search.

Watch this video very interesting... I myself am way to scared to do this...

The question and insite it has given me today is, "How do we manage the inner and outer self." That is to say the real me/spirit/awakened self/soul and the real world. I still have not seen more than a glimpse of the real me so it may not be a valid question. However, I think it is a key to one of my problems. Atleast to defining my problem so I can face it.

Meditation mantras or text

I'm slowly, sort of, kind of starting a little meditation. I'm also trying some "meditation aid" cds that help you reach meditative states. This text is from one cd that has subliminal messages (results are not in yet but its relaxing music if nothing else!). From Brain Sync Release Guilt :

I am innocent
I make good decisions
I trust myself
I am doing what I need to do
I am good enough
I accept life
